You are not required to have a referral to see a psychologist. However, a Medicare rebate is available for individual therapy when you have obtained a referral. Our individual therapy appointment fees are $250. However, under a Medicare Mental Health Care Plan, a rebate of $141.85 ($108.15 out of pocket) per session is currently available for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Unfortunately, a Medicare rebate is not currently offered for couples therapy. Please see our FAQ page for more information regarding fees, Mental Health Care Plans, and our cancellation policy.
