Assessment
Each appointment, including initial appointments, run for 50 minutes. The most effective outcomes tend to come from attending sessions on a weekly or fortnightly basis. However, we understand this is not possible for all and a different arrangement can be discussed with your psychologist.

Initial appointments tend to involve a comprehensive assessment. Your psychologist will invite you to share what has brought you to therapy, your current experiences and explore aspects of your background, such as family, relationships, and significant life events.

The assessment process can take more than one session.

Treatment
Subsequent sessions last 50 minutes and focus on your ongoing progress, and goals. These sessions often incorporate tailored interventions from Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing. All sessions are personalized to suit your unique needs and circumstances.
